Low Cost Dental Providers

There is an enormous need for dental services in underserved communities, partly because there are many more people without dental insurance than there are without medical insurance and also because there are fewer dental offices than there are medical offices. Patients often present to their primary care office with oral complaints. There is not much a primary care providers can do other than prescribe pain medications and antibiotics and say, “you should see a dentist.” Unfortunately there are not many options for emergency dental services and most clinics that will see patients on an emergency basis only offer to pull the offending tooth.
