Most of the patients seen at Safety Net Clinics have been seen at a number of other clinics and hospitals prior to their visits with us.  That is why it is important to have access to their records at the time of visit in order to understand their history better and to avoid duplicating tests and other interventions which unnecessarily increases the overall cost of care.  Contexture is Arizona’s state wide health information exchange that provides a wealth of information from labs, imaging, medications, inpatient and outpatient notes and vaccines and can be used as a one stop shop instead of logging into multiple portals to get information needed.
